LakeThe Hancock County Economic Development Association was reinstated in 1999 in an effort to enhance the quality of life in Hancock County by creating employment and development opportunities. It was decided at this time to establish a full-time LakeEconomic Development Coordinator position to lead the county’s economic development efforts in a unified manner. The position is funded through contributions from local communities, private businesses and individuals. These contributions are then matched dollar for dollar through state funds. Kristin Huls has held the position of Hancock County Economic Development Coordinator since December 2006.
